So yeah, my last journal entry was depressing. And short. But depressing. I don't really like it on my page, but I want to keep it around for...I don't know, a monument to the intense suckiness of that day, save that I got to see Sarah and Mikey at it's end. Thus the creation of this journal entry. AND, you know, I also have something absolutely crucial to say.

Okay, we've all seen the dramatic ________ video, right? Some people think that it's a gopher, some people think that it's a chipmunk, and some people CORRECTLY think that it's a prairie dog. I CAN PROVE IT! It's a fucking prairie dog. I know people always say dramatic chipmunk. They are misled souls.

My reaction was a great bit like this upon witnessing this heinous error:

This footage was filmed on the Japanese TV show Hello! Morning, the episode where J-Pop group MiniMoni makes an appearance. I'm no expert in Japanese, but if you watch just a few minutes before that infamous head turn moment, you will CLEARLY hear the show host say "prairie dog", motioning down to the animal. He just said that randomly? I THINK NOT. It is also stated on wikipedia that the animal is, in reality, a prairie dog.

Sarah, are you hearing this? It's a prairie dog! I rest my case. -sound dramatic PRAIRIE DOG music-
